To write to the best of my ability, wherever possible, I get involved in the situation. An empathy and understanding for a culture and its surroundings, help convey my feelings into words I can offer the reader. To be able to identify with these words a journey that I’ve had the fortune to be part of, is the buzz of travel writing for me.

Bikers with Altitude:

Take a trip into the Bolivian Cordillera Real starting at the highest city in the world, and finishing in hot, humid jungle 3,400m later – on a bicycle of course…

Driving for Cactus:

Four Poms head out to the Great Australian Bight in their dilapidated Ford Falcon to discover one of Australia’s legendary surf mecca’s..

Sailing the tip of the Iceberg:

In 1999, Jesse Martin became the youngest person to circumnavigate the worlds oceans unassisted. He was 17. Eight years on, I met up with him on an island near Kavieng, Papua New Guinea to hear his plans for the future.

A Peruvian day out:

One cup each of cactus pulp, five subjects, one shaman, and a wild dog. Just another day in Cusco, South America.
